Agree with you here Luis. I was going to comment on this exactly.
Assuming 0 experience, then no, not everyone can code. Only 1% of the population is software engineers. Within that 1% I'm not sure how many are developers who understand languages like java, C/C++, Go, and Kotlin.
While picking up python can be trivial in the simplest of forms, it is a much more complex task of building a coherent application without incurring a tremendous amount of tech debt.
ChatGPT is not the "flex tap" to solve or fix all problems. A knowledgeable programmer is needed to be able to review and adjust the contents of the output as needed from ChatGPT.
A good programmer IS paid for coding AND for all the other soft skills and analytical skills needed.
